For all of the men and women out there researching various work at home opportunities.....
Beware. All of the business opportunity review websites and all of the home based business review sites were set up for one purpose and one purpose only: to get you to purchase their products through their affiliate links on their review pages.
I will never forget the first time I realized this back in 2005. I found the greatest "
scam" website (anyone can guess which one) and I thought what a smart guy to set this up for people looking for a home based business opportunity and not wanting to get scammed! Well, he
is a very smart guy. His pages are loaded with google ads and he gets paid every time someone clicks on those ads. Let me tell you that right this minute there are literally hundreds of people viewing his website.
And what a smarty pants he turned out to be. He started bashing people who posted questions about various work at home opportunities, calling them suckers and even going so far as to call them stupid. He called every opportunity a scam especially targeting the MLM opportunities. He also bashed the posters who responded to opportunities that they had success with. This verbal bashing of course brought on thousands of hits to various work at home opportunities listed on this website as people wanted to post and defend the opportunities they believed in.
Smart guy.
Fast forward 3 years later and the world wide web is full of home based business opportunity review sites. Many of those work at home, business opportunity, work in your underwear ads are for ebooks teaching you ways to advertise and market their work at home, business opportunity, work in your underwear ebooks. Many of these ebooks teach people to create a web page or website with reviews for several different programs to get traffic to the site. (Of course you will also review the opportunity you are promoting.)
Another website set up only to promote a business opportunity is Program Critique. Every page of reviews has the following at the bottom of each page:
WE HAVE TESTED AND OR CRITIQUED HUNDREDS OF OPPORTUNITIES AND THIS ONE CREATED A MID SIX-FIGURE INCOME. CLICK HERE..........
Funny thing is if you do a search for this particular program you will find it has bad reviews on other sites. Other sites that are of course promoting their own business opportunity.
I am not against writing reviews about programs to make money and or to help people choose the right work at home opportunity. I have written information about programs I have tried in the past. One turned out to be a total scam. I was never paid for my sales and spent thousands on advertising and I wanted to shout it out to the world. What burns my bottom are review sites that
could not and
have not really tested all of these opportunities.
I found a site one day while doing research on a work at home program and the site promoted "
the top programs that I have made money with" and they listed 36 programs. Get real.
Another review site I found when searching information on Jan Gaudina's real estate program, wrote a review about how "
she does this" and "
she does that" and "
I would definitely recommend her program", etc. Problem is Jan Gaudina is not a "
she"!
Millions of men and women are desperately searching for the perfect work at home opportunity for many different reasons. Most people are looking for a way to earn extra money while staying home with their children and some people, myself included just love the internet; it's where we shop, chat, play and learn. Unfortunately for some , they may never find that business because of all the negative and or false reviews most marketers are posting for their own benefit.
Bottom line is that you will rarely find a great review about a home based business opportunity on any website unless it is promoting that home based business opportunity and you will always find negative reviews about opportunities on sites promoting their own work at home opportunities. You must dig deeper.
Until this method of marketing stops working, people will continue to fall for the biggest scam of all:
the home business opportunity review that really isn't.
